#472 Nice lunch at FOAM, The Hague (NL)

restaurant reviw #472 – Another vegan restaurant! Had lunch here on a weekday. It was a sunny day, so we sat on the terrace in front of the restaurant. It’s in a rather quiet smaller street, so not that much traffic, which was nice.

We had a coffee and an elderflower lemonade (3,95€), an avocado sandwich (9,25€) + tempeh ‘bacon’ (2,50€) and an Italian toast (10,95€). And a soup (4,95€).
The food was lovely. The extra bacon bits (the tempeh) came on the wrong plate, but no big deal, as we shared anyway. Soup and drinks were also great!

Service was rather slow though. Took quite some time before order was taken, drinks & food came. Although the restaurant was not even full. In English, no Dutch spoken.

Was glad we could sit outside, inside gave a bit cramped impression. And next to open kitchen, with staff constantly busy.
Saw one toilet, tiny. With a damp towel to dry ones hands. Eek… One of my pet pieves : – / This is really not hygienic, …

All in all: nice lunch, glad we could sit outside.
