restaurant review #429 – First time visit to this place! π€ Amon is a Lebanese restaurant in the city center of Bruges, near the Stadschouwburg and the Van Eyckplein. It has a typical Middle Eastern cuisine, so also with vegan options: falafels, hummus, tajine, β¦
The vegetarian options are a seperate category on menu, would be good if it also says which ones are vegan. But owner said vegan was no problem and was knowledgeable about vegan.
Got some green olives with my drink – sparkling water. Nice.
Had the falafels with hummus with rice (19,50β¬) (you can also have it with bread or fries). Nice dish, more than enough portion for me. The coleslaw normally comes with mayonaise, but this was now left out, and got a salad selection of raw vegs. With three seperate sauces (one with lots of onions). One of them was very spicy!!
Hint: some veganaise would be nice π
Small restaurant, in city center, so a bit expensive.
Large step to get in. One toilet. So not accessible.
Very friendly and welcoming!
