restaurant review 398 – This was vegan lunch of the day at Organic Vision, a macrobiotic restaurant in Oostende, Belgium**

It was a bit expensive (23,10€ main dish, 6,5€ soup, juice 6,9€), but always very nice and all organic.

I have visited Organic Vision a couple of times over the years.
Always a nice lunch. Sometimes just for a drink or dessert on the sunny terrace. On the last visit it seemed the menu had downsized, not that many options anymore.
** Sad to see Organic Vision has closed. Anyone know what happened? 🤔
Larisa Levitskaya previously ran restaurant De Graankorrel near the city hall (she had taken over De Graankorrel in 2003). It was one of the only vegan restaurants in Belgium years ago. And of the first reviews on my blog see REVIEW 2014 and REVIEW 2016.
De Graankorrel closed, and in 2018 she started Organic Vision in the city center (Mijnplein) – see REVIEW 2018. No longer all vegan, but always with a vegan plat du jour, and all desserts were still vegan. And with a wellness.
Pity though that they served meat and fish. And a pity they were not open for dinner.
