restaurant review #479 – Vegan Hotel at the Moselle in Germany! We were here for a couple of nights in the Fall of 2023. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Lots of things to choose from, cereals, fruits, jam, slices, pate, spread, …No tofu scramble or other hot dishes, or Danish pastry, which would make it complete! Breakfast is in 2 shifts, and you have to notify the day before if you want the early shift or the later one. A bit of a pity, one of the pleasant things of being on holiday is just waking up when you want to, no alarm clock. Apparently some rooms in the hotel have been recently renovated, but our room clearly wasn’t. Judging by the bathroom and furniture, I think it stems from the late 1970’s? Which also means poor insulation, and you can hear traffic from the road as if the window is open. The room was very basic, with some furniture wore down.
