Happy Cow is an app/website with vegan (friendly) restaurants, shops, catering, wellness, hotels, etc. I’ve been using it since the beginning, nearly 25 years ago! I’ve been an ambassador (top volunteer) since 2018. That means I add a lot of listings in my area (Bruges, Belgium), try to keep their opening hours updated, post a lot of reviews, etc.

The database of Happy Cow depends on user input, so anyone can add new listings, send in updates about opening hours, whether a listing has closed, or vegan options have changed.
Do you use Happy Cow? I hear from a lot of vegans they use it when travelling. But then ‘forget’ to add reviews or photos from restaurants they visit back home.
So here’s a warm appeal to everyone to add more photos and reviews! So your fellow vegans/travellers can make informed choices. And the business owners feel supported or get an incentive to do better!
The Android app is free, Apple is paying. The website (browser version) is always free to use!
I don’t get paid in anyway to post this or contribute to Happy Cow (I take pride in calling myself #notaninfluencer ) . I’m just a happy volunteer 😉 and I love looking back at all my photos and posts from over the years.
