restaurant review #455 – This place is in the city center of Dordrecht, in the south of the Netherlands. We stopped here on our way to Den Haag (the Hague). I normally don’t post reviews of places where we just had pastry or pancakes, but wanted to share this one anyway 😉

There’s a seperate vegan section on the menu. There are two varieties of vegan pancakes: one with oat (glutenfree) one with almond milk and chia seeds.

We had one of each. ‘One for you’ (11€) and the almond (8€) with toppings of choice: vegan whip cream, blueberries and banana (1,5€ each). The blueberries were sold out unfortunately, so we each had strawberries as a replacement.

Although we ordered everything vegan, the coffee and tea came with milk and non-vegan chocolates.

Would love to see more options for toppings: chocolate or caramel sauces, scrambled tofu, vegan cream cheese, …
Service was friendly, although a bit of a wait. There was only one staff to manage everything (making drinks, pancakes and serving !!).

Toilet at the back, not accessible, small. Liked the individual towels to dry ones hands!

This place has a kitsch modern kind of look, like an American diner from years ago.
From a visit in April 2024.
