restaurant review #443 – We had requested a vegan menu for our first night at the hotel (we stayed here for 2 nights on our way back from our holiday in Italy – we stayed at two vegan hotels: LA VIMEA and Agrivilla i Pini).
This is what we were served:
We had a nice dinner, although the food was not really wow. The dessert for example was simply minth granita, they didn’t really put in an effort there. The risotto as main course was OK.
The setting is spectacular though! Amazing view at lake Como, and we had a table at the railing, with a lovely view!
And very friendly service.
110 euro for 2 persons (with mocktail and bottle of water). Expensive for the food, but the location is of course stunning.
The hotel is very nice. Room was superb. Breakfast is buffet, with not a lot of vegan options though (the usual things, – cereals, fruits, drinks, some vegs), but enough to start the day.
