restaurant review #432 – This is from a couple of months ago at the end of 2023, when I was in the Alsace region (around Colmar) for the Carrefour du Patch, an international expo of quilts and patchwork.

We had dinner at vegetarian restaurant l’Acoustic, on a Friday evening.
There’s just one vegan option on the menu. Everything else is with dairy cheese 😕 It’s still not so easy to find vegan food in restaurants in France (outsside of the bog towns), so we were happy with this place, but would be better if they ditch the dairy.

So we each had a sort of flammkuchen with coconut yoghurt and tofu and vegetables (don’t remember the price).
We ordered a salad on the side (7,50€)

It was OK, but not really culinairy exciting.
Nice location, especially the terrace, on a quiet square next to historical church. Uncomfy chairs though.
Inside a bit old fashioned style.
Part of restaurant at front entrance is accessible, with accessible toilet.

Friendly, albeit reserved.
PS: very unclear opening hours. The opening hours on their FB and on Happy Cow dont match the hours on their website, nor on google.
We found out by accident when passing in late afternoon that it was indeed open in the evening, from 7pm onwards.
Pros: Terrace, Nice location
Cons: Mainly non-vegan menu, just one vegan option
