Shop review #15 – On one of our recent visits to Leuven, we discovered Circle, an Asian shop in the Brusselsestraat (no website).
On the front window it is labelled as being an Asian supermarket but it is not really that big. Big enough though to look around for about half an hour. We only had about 10 minutes and we weren’t looking for anything in particular. So we just strolled around the shop, out of curiosity. I find it nice to discover new vegan items in a shop I’ve never been to before!
Here are some of the items that caught my eye:
And some of the dried mushrooms/seaweeds:

Circle was the name of the video rental shop that used to be there. It can be that they took the name as well (easy with then neon sign already being there), but I think the store is just called Aziatische supermarkt. Just saying in case they some day decide to remove the neon sign. 🙂
Thanks for clearing that up Kobe!
I was at the store last week after reading your post and found many many more vegan options – even bought many! I was especially impressed with the soy-based green tea ice cream!
That’s great! We didn’t have that much time to check everything out, but it’s nice to hear they even have ice cream!
